Prishtina Open Table Tennis International Tournament has grown into one of the most important international table tennis events organized in Kosovo, bringing together players, clubs and table tennis communities from Kosovo, the region and countries around the world.
Organized annually in Prishtina by KPP Priping in collaboration with Kosovo Table Tennis Federation, the tournament was created with a clear goal: to bring international table tennis to Kosovo, provide local players with an opportunity to compete against international opponents, and promote Prishtina as a destination for sport.
Since its first edition, Prishtina Open has continued to grow in both participation and international reach. Over the years, hundreds of players from more than 30 countries have travelled to Prishtina to compete in the tournament.
The competition welcomes different generations of players, with categories ranging from youth to senior and veteran competitions. This format gives young talents the opportunity to experience an international tournament while also attracting experienced and competitive players.
Beyond the results and trophies, Prishtina Open is about much more than competition. The tournament creates new friendships, connects clubs and athletes from different countries and gives international participants the opportunity to experience Prishtina and Kosovo.
The 2026 edition marked the fourth Prishtina Open, continuing the development of an event that has become an important part of the table tennis calendar in Kosovo.
With every edition, the ambition remains the same: to grow the tournament, increase its international presence and make Prishtina Open a recognizable table tennis event in the region and beyond.
